Gunnel Lindblom played Isabella in the The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2009) while Inga Landgré played the same role in this version. Trent Reznor is the founder of Nine Inch Nails, and wrote the score for this film with Atticus Ross, as well as the score for David Fincher's previous film, The Social Network (2010), for which Reznor and Ross won Best Original Score at the 2011 Academy Awards.
